meatless progress

Ok , so I got a suggestion on my trying not to eat meat thing called a pescetarian diet. I am soooooo happy because I have been cheating for the last two weeks with fish and sushi (cooked only) and crab legs. When my friends would whine and say "i thought you was a veg head now" or "when did vegetarians start eating fish, you do know it's an animal , right?", now i have some thing to tell them. So shout out www.goodhealthdiva.blogspot.com, for giving me the info. As far as the rest of the meat goes beef and pork are not missed at all. I actually feel lighter now but I don't own a scale so who knows. I am having a bit of an issue when I exercise with the weak feeling so I have eaten chicken 3 time because someone told me that I would fall down and die if i didn't get any protean. I thought that was a bit over-board and laughed, but  her face didn't change so i assumed that she seen it happen to somebody, so I said ok. I'm gonna have to look into that. But as for now, no more chicken for me.

genie locks

Ok, so I decided to put the genie locks a.k.a yarn braids back in after two weeks of rest. I am happy with them but they take soo long to do. What should have been about a day turned into four because they were getting on my nerves. Neck and arm cramps just don't work for me. the funny thing is I wouldn't even be doing my own hair but my lazy a** sister acts like it takes too much time out of her life to do them for me. So now I can do them myself. Yay me! Anyways I figured out why I have been shedding so much hair lately. It is because my medication got adjusted again and now it is to low. I have an over-active thyroid and one of the many cons of having this is hair loss. The doctor has been a adjusting the dose on the meds to accommodate the hair loss and weight gain because I don't want either of them. But now I know so I can breath a little easier know that there is a legit reason for it. So now off to buy some hair vitamins. Gotta shop around cause I really wanna find some with a large amount of biotin in them. Anybody know of any good ones please let me know.

Trying not to eat meat

So I decided that I would try to get healthy by cutting out meat from my diet for a while. Well it's been a week now and I am hungry. I really want a cheese burger with bacon on it, bad. My boyfriend thinks we should try and eat vegan for a while but when I told him what he would have to give up to do it, he changed his mind, lol. So i have to say, I did slip up a few times but it's only been a week so far so........ I think I'll be fine. Maybe we should have cut out simple carbs or something.

So I take out my braids and now my hair has been shedding for about 2 weeks straight. This is so frustrating and I'm sick of having the back of my shirts full of hair every time I put my hands in it. I know I need to keep it moist but i am sick and tired of buying products that work for everyone else's natural hair but not mine. I think I just might cut it all off again....idk
